(Title is referring to one of my favorite Barbie shows growing up…. did anyone else watch Maxi’s World? I had a VHS tape… haha, maybe it was a movie? Set up like the Wizard of Oz but surfer-version…)

So speaking of the maxi dress discussion on Everybody Is Ugly… I was going to sell this on my etsy but since my boyfriend and many a friend told me that I shouldn’t, I’m not going to. Not yet, anyways. This seems a little more fancy and unique of a maxi than the ones you see in store these days… long sleeve, solid color, interesting criss/cross front… but I like it. I just don’t know where I’m going to wear it! It’s long enough, but I liked the way I tied it up on the side – for a little flair. NOTE: now that I think about it, I think it was Erin of Calivintage who first gave me this inspiration! Loves it. She is so creative. =)

What do you think about the maxi dress? I’ve always liked long dresses or skirts, but never on myself, just on other people!

haha yes but I am wearing sky high heels and it looks much better twisted at the side over there... and the long sleeves helps. I don't know, I don't think I look good in the ones that are selling in stores! xo
