This classic truck was made for me. Why fate has it parking in someone else’s driveway every night and not mine, I do not know. Maybe because I don’t have a driveway? Maybe because I don’t even have a driver’s license?
We went to a car show today (my first), and I’ve never been in the presence of so many classic beauties in my life. The red chevy truck wasn’t even part of the show; it was parked on the side of the street, most likely belonging to a person who was attending the show, lucky duck. C’est la vie. I did have my boyfriend snap a couple quick photos of what could have been…sigh… Kept the outfit comfortable, the top was the boyfriend’s but i made it into something a smidge more feminine. Pants were also reconstructed, and the wedges are 70s vintage. As some of you may have noticed, I wear scarves a lot. This is partly due to the fact that I simply like wearing them, but also because I often get around town on a scooter or motorcycle. As much as I adore Einstein’s do, it’s not quite as flattering on me and the scarf helps keep all those bitty strands in place when I’m riding in the wind. Hope everyone’s Sunday is just swell!
I’ll be posting more about pretty cars, chili mango flavored popsicles, mini tornados, and bdsm swing sets on my new blog: www.captaindarjeeling.blogspot.com
