Went for a sweet spring-summer floral vibe for the day since it was a mega hot Sunday and I was in the blushy mood. I am seriously not keen on having a distinct style which is why I tend to go for radical shifts when it comes to outfit choices… yesterday was neon 80’s electroshock and today is more life on the prairie pastels. I guess I’m weird that way!
Anyway, this is one of my most favorite shaped skirts ever- the bell tulip style gives the illusion of hips thus flattering the waist and upper torso by making it appear smaller than it really is. I especially adore the rose print since florals will always bring out the girly girl in all of us. Paired it with a more safari style top, a beige vest and pink tanktop which I decided to continue to my footwear which are old Suede shoe boots circa 2008 and pink socks (the same tone as my top and vest). Wore my favorite beige bag from mum (a vintage Nina Ricci tote bag) and a vintage leather Italian belt I also scooped up from my mom’s old stuff (She has the best treasures and trinkets, trust me).
I wore this to mass and a quick shopping trip with my brother and my boyfriend who are celebrating their weekend for they shall both be officially employed already this week. xx
