How to navigate your way through… Target!
Sort of an impromptu post brought about by the fact that I was on the way home and I really needed a Diet Coke. I stopped by Target to pick up a few much needed essentials and a couple other things I did not need as much. God bless Target.
Mixing high/ low can be tricky. You want to look for pieces that do not require more significant design or quality of fabric. Also, shopping outside of your designated “sections” is recommended. I mean, where else do you have potato chips next to bras next to video games? These packet of Hanes t-shirts are from the men’s section.
Another tip is to play around with sizing. Sizing for chain stores is messed up anyway. This Rogan for Target tank is like your average racerback tank. But in a size Large, it creates a sweet loose drape that feels a lot more fashion-y than it was probably designed to be.
Finally, non-descript little bags are a good cheap staple. Even if it were Prada, could you tell? This one is Gryson for Target.
Remember, it’s not always about how expensive your clothes are. It’s how good you look in them. But if you can afford expensive clothes… that’s cool too. I’m poor, though.
