In an effort to enter the Chic and the Fuzzy contest (since I don’t have a pet of any kind), I put myself in harm’s way of some pigeons. Luckily I escaped uninfected (I hope), but it was still a close call.
On a more cheery note, there were lots of ooh and aahs from the gals at the office from these shoes, which are probably my most prized possessions right now. They’re Chie Miharas, suede, metallic, star print, huge platform. So many things I love in one shoe. I saw them in a magazine I was flipping through while waiting to get my hair cut a few months back. They were shipped all the way from Spain (with import duties and international transaction fees to boot), but I had to have them. Love Chie Mihara. One of my favorite shoe designers forever.
As far as my outfit goes, I’m really not sure what I had in mind. All I knew was that I of liked the colors together. And the weird pattern/texture clash. Any excuse to do clashing patterns is a plus in my book.
On a completely unrelated sidenote, I’m done with college! Had my last final & final paper on Tuesday, and now I’m donedonedonedone and needing to move on into the real world. Wish me luck!
