i took the day off today to spend some time with my brother who is visiting from japan right now (he lives there teaching english and is about to embark on some insane travels through asia). so basically all i have for you today is my outfit from mother’s day…we had a lovely lunch with my mom that started at the farmers market and ended being completely full and laying on my parents couch. ha!

the outfit started out pretty cute, but got cold relatively fast. that’s why halfway through the day i switched out my sheer tights for some jeggings! this dress is also the perfect length on me to go from tights to jeggings without looking scandalous and still being comfortable. actually, it was labeled a “top” on thescarletroom.com but i was overjoyed when i received it and saw that i could wear it as a dress!

anyway, excited for my day today and thanks again for all of the sweet sweet comments! <3
