So the title of this post is what came to mind with this outfit… pink and black aka ink and pink… and inky pinky is also the name of my left pinky on the side of my hand after I’ve been writing with a pen that smears… (I’m a lefty.) Funny, huh?
Anyways, I seem to have this pattern of how I wear my shoes. I wear the same pair for maybe 2-4 outfits in a row and then I rotate. Have you noticed? Maybe not. For awhile it was the Cynthia Vincent wedges, lately it’s been these green cork wedges by Nine West that I bought second hand for $9!
I still can’t decide if I want to keep this dress or sell it. It’s always a debate when it comes to the things I thrift! I mean, I can’t keep it all! That’s why I have my etsy…
I really enjoy the combination of black with bright colors like that of this dress. I’m not one for making a huge statement with my outfits, but if I have something that is really bold or vibrant, I usually have to tone it down with a mellow or subdued color so I feel more… me? I’m a pretty basic gal when it comes to dressing, really! But I like to keep it interesting but still me.
On top of the shoe rotation thing, I’ve been on the socks with sandals kick, too! It’s because the weather is just right in between cooler and warmer so it’s not completely uncomfortable or weird to be wearing the socks… know what I mean? I have to make it last before it’s too hot to even think of wearing jeans or socks or anything not flow-y and cool. Blech!
(My banged up knees are making another appearance, I’m sorry! I would photoshop them but I mean, you would be able to tell, haha!)
Ok, so I can’t wait until this test is over tomorrow because I have A LOT of items to add to my etsy AND some NEW items to sell on here!!! and also a giveaway and a couple features on my blog! I am so behind on my blog reading, it makes me sad! I’m not neglecting you on purpose, I swear!
