the 80’s king of the shoulder pads.
the 80’s designer of haute couture collections for the house of lanvin
the man that has inspired alexander mcqueen in plenty of his collections.
my mom inherited this claude dress from nora zehetner’s (laura from brick – i didn’t like that movie at all) mother, nancy, and luckily my mom got too fat for it and gave it to me!
it has these little black button clasps all the way down the middle of the back, two on each sleeve, and two on each side of the collar. it’s really fun to rip off but not so fun to put on.
dallas decided to be rainy and chilly today, taking a break from the 90 degree weather we’ve been having. i miss fall already.
