This, without a doubt, encapsulates what I will be wearing this spring:
Light colors, tailored items that border on menswear, and most importantly: no fuss.
I think this Spring will be much different for me than most have. Typically, I gravitate towards dresses and seemingly no-fuss items like skirts- but truly, I feel much more liberated in shorts. I can dance like a maniac, sit in the grass (cross-legged!), roll around with my dog in the park, and double-dutch till the cows come home.
I also feel that the modesty and general essence of shorts allows for a much bolder shoe. I think of my Spring look as a muted canvas for artistic pieces (shoes, a bold hat, etc). Which is exactly why my Revolve must-have item for Spring is the Elizabeth and James E-Greta Sandal:http://www.revolveclothing.com/DisplayProduct.jsp?product=EAND-WZ18&c=Elizabeth+and+James&d=Shoes
The shoe fills both my needs by being bold, yet neutral as well. A very loud whisper, if you will. It will be styled simply, and sharply as not to distract from its platform, caged glory.
This Spring is going to be wonderful and I cannot wait !
