There are many things at Chictopia that we can really get behind. A few of those being responsibility, charity and of course, great fashion. In the most tender recesses of our heart, we save a spot for initiatives that combine all three. So our fondness for H&M’s Fashion Against AIDS collection may come as little surprise.
On May 20th, H&M will be launching it’s third Fashion Against AIDS collection. This year, the theme is Summer music festivals. And as with its previous collections, 25% of sales will be donated to youth HIV/AIDS awareness projects, promoting the message of safe sex. Listen up kids, this is your lives we’re talking about! The previous collections have raised over $30 million SEK (That’s $4.2 million USD) for organizations like Designers Against AIDS, Youth Aids, MTV Staying Alive Foundation and UNFPA.
Packed with fun prints, edgy denim and even camping supplies like tents and sleeping bags, the line has plenty to choose from for all the festival-going guys and girls.
So if you’re looking to be chic this Summer and give to a great cause, check out H&M’s Fashion Against AIDS collection, launching May 20th in stores nationwide.
