ahh ive been away from chictopia for like, ever!
these photos were taken on good friday, when we had the day off from school. it was super sunny and gorgeous out. i was able to wear i summer dress with no tights or anything.. amazing! when i tried on this dress in goodwill, my friend megan wrinkled her nose and said something along the lines of “it looks like a pregnant woman in the nineties would wear that.. i dont like it.” when i showed her how much i was planning on chopping off the hem, however, she started to like it. it used to be down to my ankles.
when i was walking home after megan left, not only was i hollered at by some middle school boys (uhh..) but i was almost kidnapped…. okay not really but it was scary!! i was about 50 feet away from my house, and a man maybe in his 30s pulled over. i thought he was going to ask for directions or something. not so much.
creepy guy: “hey, do you want a ride?”
freaked out me: “no thanks.”
guy: “are you sure?”
me: “yeah, im good.” (should i start running?)
guy:“okay.. its really nice out today, huh?”
me:“yes it is.”
guy: “you’re really pretty, you know.”
me: “thanks”
guy: “bye” (drives off, thank goodness)
i actually started cracking up after this happened. i mean, i live in such a suburban small town.. i didnt think stuff like that actually happened. haha. and it was so stranger danger too.
