Ayala Heights Clubhouse
This shoot was for a friend’s project. His name is Mikko and he is actually the boyfriend of my cousin, Desmarie. He’s a Multimedia Arts student in DLS-CSB and needed someone to model for his something-like-Fashion Design-or-billboard-making subject.
I actually did not intend to wear this outfit for the shoot. I wore this on my way to the location and intended to change the outfit as soon as I get there. In fact, I brought like almost ten sets of clothes and five pairs of shoes with me ‘cause I really did not know what he wanted me to wear. All I knew was that he was thinking of something inspired by the Guess billboards. When I got there, I asked him where I could change and what kind of clothes I should use. He said what I was wearing was already perfect and that we could use the other ones I brought later instead.
I was kind of hesitant to use this outfit because I thought it was going to be boring and dull in pictures. Plus, the pieces were already old. I already wore the Grecian-inspired top for my birthday last year (July 2007) and those high-waist shorts were not really extraordinary. I thought the outfit was okay but not photo-shoot-worthy. But as soon as I saw the photos, I was so happy that I bordered my room with these pictures. Seriously. Haha. Indeed, it was a great choice.
I never got the chance to wear any of the clothes I brought with me for the shoot. Haha. But what the hell. I got my wonderful pictures and there’s always a next time.
Special thanks to my boyfriend for the shoes! (They’re actually in the shoe business. Haha. I’m so lucky!)
Thank God for Chictopia! Now, I have a good reason to wear my one-time-only clothes the second time!
