I don’t know what inspired me to try out the bolero over the blouse but I’m glad I did, I think it looks cute. I don’t think it would work with many of my blouses but for this one it seems to. The blouse was actually a minidress length but it didn’t really suit me at full length so I cut the bottom off, now it’s ideal for tucking into shorts and trousers, and because the bottom hasn’t frayed too much yet, I may try it out untucked or as a cardigan. A simple act of cutting has made this blouse so much more versatile. I did the same thing to a similar but longer length burgundy one, and I now have a burgundy blouse and skirt. I should get happy with the scissors more often. The next project will be to turn the dress in this post: http://www.chictopia.com/photo/show/38801-I+%3C3+this+dress-asos-dress into a pair of shorts and a crop top. I just need some elastic to make the waistband.
I was going to go out today, but then I changed my mind and lounged around at home and played guitar hero dressed like this lol. Usually I wouldn’t even get dressed on such a lazy day so I don’t know why I did.
