This is what I wore today to go to the local flea market. I found a brown document case, some rings, the gold bracelet I am wearing in this post and two amazing hats: one of them looks like the one worn by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany. The particularity is that it’s orange, which is an unusual colour for such a hat. I really couldn’t wait and wore it this afternoon for a coffee with friends and a walk through the city. Everyone stared at me and I heard some people criticizing my outfit behind my back and saying how ridiculous I looked. Years ago I would have felt ashamed but now it makes me just laugh and I really don’t care if someone doesn’t like my style. I think this is a sign of self confidence and consciousness that if you look different than anyone else and you dare with styling, then you have to expect critiques and weird looks. It’s part of the game. And I enjoy it.
Have a nice evening.
PS: unfortunately yesterday I didn’t make it to write about the conversation I had with my mum, Sorry for that. I will post it tomorrow, I promise.
