This outfit is titled “Bulletproof” which is quite the opposite of how this day went for me.
I am probably the most fragile person I know… I have severe allergies and a heart condition as the cherry to top the disaster that is my health. Sometimes, it helps to pretend we are bulletproof to forget how vulnerable we all ultimately are to anything. This was the day I chose to pretend and ironically, also the day I was brutally reminded I wasn’t as tough as I thought.
I needed to relax this day. The bikini orders have gotten me very confused and stressed but I love it so keep your orders coming guys! So I needed a breather and called my boyfriend for a movie night at Rockwell, the only mall my mom allows me to go to without hesitation. I picked a light movie to watch since I needed zero stress so I chose How to Train a Dragon (cartoons!) in 3-D. It was a pretty fun kiddie movie and I must admit it was more exciting for me than most action films out there…it’s the pet thing, I connect more when there’s animals in the picture… Sad to say, the 3-D real time effect had a weird effect on my heart since it started to rush and beat faster and faster. It was prolly the effects since it was more vivid and real life. By the end of the movie I was panting and gasping for air like I jogged and ran for a long time, I couldn’t climb up or down the stairs and walking was very difficult. I had to take an extra dose of my heart meds and anti-anxiety meds for the panic and stress it caused me. My doctor said it was prolly anxiety attack from the stress of the 3-D and told me to avoid it. I found it funny, really… I mean seriously…even 3-D Cartoon films have an effect on me? C’mon! It’s not like it’s punk rock or suspense here! So there, a blatant reminder of how faaaaaar from bulletproof I am.
As a perfect end to the tale, I am grounded yet again till Sunday (Yes, I am 23 years old and I still get grounded… it;s the physiological thing!) and my mom will only have my hair extensions reattached on Friday to make sure I do not leave cause I have short hair!
Sad isn’t it? On the upside, I did look quite army and military and it felt great to pose as a TOUGH CHICK even if it was just the clothes.
The top is a very shimmery sequined cotton on cropped tank from HK layered over a ribbed basic tank. Wore my forgotten fave Zara studded belt, Vintage Army green pants and studded bag + new fave strappy chained heels. Finished off with my favorite item in this look, a layered multi-strand dogtag necklace from Jenni Epperson’s brand, CUTETURE I am in love with this necklace seriously! I even got one for my sister Katie since her fiance is a marine and the dogtags will be soooo perfect for her! To get one for yourself, click the link above. It’s divine, trust me!
Very different look from the usual ones I wear but I won’t have fashion bipolarity if I didn’t deviate from the norm right?
Next post, I’ll be in combat boots- I got DMs in Silver, Gold and Pink! Can’t wait to post! xx
