Enchanted Forest

Generally I wouldn’t wear an outfit like this to go tromping around in the woods, but my college has a nice little nature preserve in the middle of campus so I thought I’d take some outfit photos there. I actually wore this to go downtown for dinner with my boyfriend a couple nights ago. He has some friends in town for spring break but they were doing other things that evening so he took some time out of his busy schedule to go out with me. Yay!

The dress I’m wearing as a top is absolutely gorgeous. It’s silk, and my mom had a tailor make in for her in Indonesia when she was there in the 70s. Unfortunately, the shape is a little weird if I wear it on its own, so I’m trying to come up with creative ways to integrate it into my wardrobe. I know it’s pink and I’m a redhead, but I really don’t care. It’s too beautiful for me to allow it to just sit in a closet somewhere!
