it's okay to smile, especially if you feel you look better that way. some people just have awful smiles! but yes, i always thought antm would be easy as pie, but now i realize that it's a lot more difficult than it looks!

So I’ve been trying to take my own pictures, and I find that my face looks stupid whenever I try to be all “model-y” but then I feel that I don’t look “fashion-y” when I smile. What a dilemma! Plus it’s awkward taking tripod self-timer shots, and I took this picture in front of where I live, so a lot of people saw what I was doing and some asked if I needed help. At least I have a D-SLR now, so it looks like I’m doing something legitimate… I always felt weird (read: myspace) having someone take my blog photos with a point and shoot. I think the girls on America’s Next Top Model have a way harder job than I imagined. I respect them more now…maybe I should practice my posing.
