So it’s back to “winter,” eh? I really want a myriad of pretty 40’s and 50’s inspired day dresses for spring, all made out of cotton. I can just imagine how perfectly it would all work… basically, spring in my mind = 40’s/50’s inspiration, yet I have nothing from that era or even inspired by those times. There’s one 80’s does 40’s dress in particular that I’m in love with… but I won’t post a link for fear of having someone else snatch it. My birthday’s soon and I’m hoping I can convince someone to purchase me an $85 dress!
I realized I’ve sort of neglected these boots this winter… but I want to wear them with my bleached denim shorts once the weather permits. For some reason it just feels wrong wearing shorts, yet it’s totally okay for me to wear skirts/dresses when it’s below 60 degrees. I guess shorts are just too carefree and too summery.
I have spring break in eleven days – also my birthday! Looking forward to it, and probably going back up to New York as a part of my gift. I really hope the weather’s nice and that I can browse stores and stroll through various neighborhoods in comfort.
Oh, and my “date” last week ended up not being as much of a date as the previous week – basically just hung around at my house. Nothing at all serious, but I just feel so sophisticated talking about dates. And the other subject I vaguely mentioned – things are back to “normal” and I’ve been able to tolerate it so far, but it was just so nice for those three weeks!
