Sunday Afternoon

I had a quartet rehearsal this afternoon, which was a pleasant way of getting myself out of bed at a reasonable hour. I took these pictures outside of my college’s music building–the stair rails have clefs in them! I think it’s a really neat detail. I seem to have developed a knack for taking pictures during the half-hour or so in the afternoon when the sun decides to shine. It’s cloudy again, so now I can get some real work done.

I worry sometimes about dressing too boyishly–I like to think of myself as more feminine. When I first got this short haircut I wore skirts and dresses for two weeks straight! Some days, though, I just want to stomp around in Doc Martens and jeans. I still like little feminine touches like my necklace, though. I think it adds a nice bit of contrast and softens the overall look.
