With visions of Jackie O, Audrey Hepburn & Doris Day dancing in my head, I waltzed into a garden party circa 1950 in this flowery coat. I subverted its good girl aura by wearing it with little more than a pair of crochet tights & some tasteful jewelry. My ladylike trench combines starburst jacquard (giving it a watercolor effect) with metallic matelassé (painting it with icy glaze); the double-breasted design is swingy yet demurely cinches closed with a sash… Fashionshesays.com.
