When couples move in together it can be hard with the pressures of everyday life to focus on one another. So, like many other couples my boyfriend and I created a date night. Yesterday, we went to see Alice and Wonderland. I grew up fascinated with Alice, her pretty coiffed blond hair and girlie wardrobe. I kind of related to her and felt like I was living in my own kind of wonderland. Now, that I am older I still carry that around with me sometimes. I often drift off in to a day dream and get lost in it.
This outfit is my own"Alice" outfit. It has somewhat of a dreamy whimsical feel to it. I love this skirt, I feel like a ballerina. There aren’t a lot of opportunities to wear it, but I don’t care. We took these out by our cottage and on this run down tennis court from the 1920s. I find myself looking out our window and day dreaming about the couples who use to rent these in the 1920s on vacation from the hustle and bustle of San Francisco. I can see them in their flapper outfits drinking lemonade and playing a game of tennis.
