Hello everyone.=)
I know i am still embracing winter while some of you are already blooming.=) I can’t rush really because the temperature here at our end wont allow us yet to ditch the coats, and our streets are still looking gloomy and cold. =( So i’m afraid i will have to bore you with my winter coats for another 2 to 3 weeks.=(
But instead of going all black again (which i do like), i chose to wear these oversized pearls and my Royal blue Hermes imposter bag to lighten up the mood a bit. It’s MBA day today and as usual, im sat in the husband’s class and while he was talking about arbitrage again, i read 2 of the magazines he got me from Paris. Holding some Narcissus (i wrote in my blog that we didnt have a decent vase in the house, we had one but it was huge and gold! And after 2 hours of looking at all the cupboards, i found 2 antique looking glass vases!) the Mr. got me while walking to the university. I love this baggy batwing mac to bits!! Not because it is Stella but because i love batwing things and huge lapels. Also, today’s the debut of my Astrid sunglasses by Tom Ford the Mr. from Paris while he was out looking for a digital Camera. He doesnt like my oversized ones much, he doesnt mind them but he wont buy me something the same. He said they look “hard”, i mean, they give this “leave me alone” signal. Well, that’s what he says and thinks, i still think they’re fab and i will still insist wearing them.=) So yes, he got me these ones because they look like the ones by Dior he got for me while we were in Dubai (which you will meet soon!) only these ones dont have gold rim. I almost jumped out of my skin when i saw it, but i stopped myself, it was women’s day after all, he thought i deserved it so maybe i do.=) I havent bought anything for more than a month, i have been a good girl and slowly paying my debt back and im almost there. I saw this nice red oversized vintage inspired ring and i knew if i didnt buy it then, there will be little chance im having it in my size, but i had to put it down, i had to walk away from the shop empty handed. And it felt good, im slowly getting better at it.=) And yes, do you like my Hermes imposter?=) I hope you do.=) I like its color, it’s my first blue bag ever. =) And i styled it with the leopard scarf to add more character to it, or maybe yes, to distract the world and make them think it’s real.=) I dont mind replicas (with due respect to the designers) as long as they’re beautifully done and clean, some stitching are just bad. This one looks like it’s made by people who had some sort of respect for the designers. That’s it, i hope you like it, you know that’s all that matters to me.=)
