So here’s what I wore last February 14, a.k.a. Valentine’s Day. My boyfriend likes to surprise me on special occasions, so I always have no clue as to how my day is going to unfold. He’d always shut me down whenever I try to ask questions. He thinks I’m snooping haha :) However, I’d always make it a point to ask him what i should wear, since I have no idea where we’re going, I’d have to at least be appropriately dressed right? I’m such a girl, I know. Shush! Anyway, so this year, he told me to dress a little bit more casual. He said whatever I wear, I should be comfortable in it.
Okay! Got it! So I opted to go sweet and simple. And since he always complains that I don’t wear the necklace he gave me, I wore the necklace as well. He bought it last year for our first anniversary. It’s a necklace from Tiffany with a heart-shaped locket. It has the word “love” written in front, and our anniversary date on the back (which is really handy because we both momentarily forget our anniversary date haha). Then he placed our pictures inside the locket. Simple but really really sweet (just like my dress haha). He said he gave me the locket because he knows I want one. I’ve always wanted one (blame it on old English movies). To finish off my look, i also wore my Tiffany bracelet from waaaay back. See the heart lock with key charm? That’s from him as well. It’s actually the second charm he gave me, the first one was the Return to Tiffany heart tag. I lost it. :( Anyway, I felt so touched when he gave me those charms. You see, long time ago, I just randomly told him that I plan to fill my Tiffany bracelet with charms which I’ll add each year. Each charm would represent something significant in my life. Then a few weeks passed, and before I knew it, he was giving me a new charm. I loved it so much because his simple gesture showed me that he listens. Isn’t that what we long for, girls? —A guy who listens?
I’m so cheesy. But cheesiness = happiness. Anyone who’s bitter needs a little love in their lives. Pfft! I hope you guys had a wonderful heart’s day. :)
