I was feeling incredibly casual today, mostly since I knew that right after I dropped my son off at school I was coming home to take my Etsy shop pictures. Before I went up to shoot though I read over all of your comments from yesterday again. Wow. This is such a grounded, deep, and interesting group of men and women. I learned so much from you yesterday and answered some of my own questions from your answers. Its days like yesterday that remind me that this is bigger than any one blog or person. I have so many more things running through my head about this. I actually received a call from one of my college professors this morning (he teaches, photography, new genres which is like performance based art and new media work, and runs the gallery of my college) and I was telling him about the really cool and interesting thing that is happening in the blogsphere and how it is a mingle of performance art, new media, photography, journalism, communication, networking, trending, fashion, I mean the list goes on. He was interested. Apparently to me and to you and everyone else, this is important on many levels. It is like a social experiment we are all conducting and measuring on our own.
My outfit today is composed of an American Apparel shirt that I just broke down and bought. I had been searching for far too long for this shirt at the thrift shops and was worried I would never find the perfect one. I fear the stripe bubble will burst soon (I hope not) so I just got one so I can enjoy it while it lasts. Oh and my cut off shorts, knee high socks and beat up boots, and a military coat I got at the thrift store.
