As you can see this is my take on the Mad Hatter from Alices Adventures in Wonderland-in honor of the movie coming out this Friday. This is a Bettie Page dress but I found it at this resale vintage shop here in Columbus called RagORama for $14, and if any of you go to the Bettie Page Clothing site you will see how expensive those dresses are to know this was a steal! I don’t have any cool brightly colored hats but I do have this funky retro headband I bought a few years ago for a Moulin Rouge costume that I knew would come in handy one day. I am super pumped for the movie to come out I am a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland-I have some antique copies of the books that you can see in one of the pics-I love the imagination and creativity behind it. If you haven’t read it I suggest you do because you just get lost in the adventures and it makes you wanna be a kid again.
