I know what you mean, I live in a small town myself and most people have no creativity with their fashion and just buy the cookie cutter clothes that are trendy instead of making a statement by choosing different pieces.

I know how you feel! I'm at the point now were I just simply wear my clothes. If people think I'm too dressed up for where I am then STUFF 'EM!!! We love clothes so why should we confirm to their "lazy" attitude!? Keep wearing your great outfits cos a lot of us appreciate it!!!!!

for a girl who can pull of absolutely anything and make any item of clothing work together, you should surely have the confidence to not care what people think in your town. you say it yourself, they're clearly suffering from small town mentality! just do it, a la nike!
