My boyfriend insists that I look like a farm girl going to a disco in this outfit. I corrected him and informed him that it is actually 1960’s school girl plaid – see the adorable Peter Pan collar. There. See it? Yes, right there.

I bought this hat on the same thrifting trip I referred to in my last post. I wanted a cute straw hat to wear with summer dresses. It has a black band on it and I clipped my Forever 21 headband around the cap to add a bow. It worked out very well.

I have a lot of writing and reading to catch up on for school. I’m off to the grocer’s for some produce and then I’ll probably settle down and catch up on my Ethnoecology reading. I skipped over a 90-page article that was on a previous week… because it was 90 pages. But there’s no rest for the wicked! It has to get read sometime.

I’m really looking forward to summer break. I hope everyone is having a decent start to their week. Thanks again for all the support!
