I loved putting this outfit together, red & black is definitely my color combination (they were our wedding colors as well)!
Soooo, my husband Jose & I met in high school drama… we were friends for a while and then we started dating. Then unfortunately I had to move away for college and we eventually decided to break up. I was suuuuper lonely for three years but we were still friends and went places together sometimes. Finally I moved back home to finish school and we got to hang out a lot more, which was always so much fun. I got Jose to be my photographer for a livejournal modeling competition (which we won twice with his photography skills, hehe), which let us spend a whole lot of time together. We both still loved each other but neither of us knew how the other felt (but apparently everyone else around us did!). Fiiiinally we figured it out and knew we wanted to be together forever (mushy mushy!). We got married on the beach on July 13th, 2008, and had a really awesome Coney Island themed reception… I had pink hair & Jose wore his Chuck Taylors… it was very “us” and loads of fun, featuring a live swing band (we can’t dance so we looked awkward but it was fun anyway). We are very happy together and even more appreciative of each other because we know what it was like to be without each other… NOT FUN! We live in a little cottage with our two crazy kitties. We always go on adventures, taking pictures and making each other laugh everywhere we go. He was kind enough to take these pictures of me, and I want to show off his cute face in one of them but I don’t want to break any rules. :)
Anyway, I love Forever 21, I am seriously like a kid in a candy store now that a store newly opened within a short distance of where we live. The hair accessories section is my heaven because I love anything veiled, feathery, and flowery. I also love their new totes, they’re only $1.50 and have all kinds of cute designs.
