There’s something about the classic sailor dress that leaves most of us vintage loving girls drooling with admiration and a curiosity of where in the world you find such an adorable piece. It’s a guaranteed go to look in the summer that will never go out of style. If your like me, you’ve searched the web for the perfect one at a reasonable price, always to be outbid by someone who was willing to pay just a little bit more than you were, and if you weren’t outbid, then you very well may have been bidding on a size ‘24 months’ dress without even realizing it. So what’s the deal? Why aren’t more designers catering to the mass love for sailor dresses?
Well this year I got to thinking about it early, before summer approached and before everyone was after that coveted sailor dress. To my surprise, I didn’t have to look long. I found the ideal sailor dress for a very practical price without the dreaded ebay bid war at just $40. It’s from a shop called Chic Star which I found amidst my ebay searches. It no doubt has my vote for the cutest/most affordable sailor dress around., AND they have it in white or navy! Could it get any better?
