So, when I packed for this trip I wasn’t really sure how complicated the travel and flights would end up, so my husband and I decided to keep our packing down to just one suitcase. I got half and he got half. It the interest of space then, I limited myself to just two coats (one light, one heavy) three shoes (heeled boots, flat slip on boots boots, lace up boots) and two hats (one I wore on the plane so it wouldn’t crush and a knitted one). These items I understood were the most important parts because they DEFINE the silhouettes of all of my outfits. A whole week of the same silhouette, in New York, during Fashion Week, AND trying to dress differently each day, gets a little old. So I ended up buying THE BARE MINIMUM to change the shape of my look. I got this cape (in Supplemental Photo) at H&M and although you can’t see well, I only belted it in the front and let it drape in the back. The pictures don’t really do the thing justice, but oh well. I put it over a long sweatshirt, OVER the dress from Saturday. Some skinny jeans and mini Walgreens leg warmers and thats all.
