Influencers gather in NYC for Chictopia.10

We can’t believe it’s over! Chictopia10: The Social Influence Summit brought together hundreds of bloggers, public relations representatives, brand representatives, fashion executives, CEOs and fashion fans. Surrounded by modern art, the crowd sat attentively to hear what the influencers had to say about the changing dynamic of fashion and the explosion of social media.

As people began pouring in, familiar faces were all around us. Our favorite bloggers – Jane Aldridge of Sea of Shoes and her mother Judy of Atlantis Home, Danny Roberts, the famed illustrator behind Igor + Andre, Taghrid, the face behind the namesake blog, Camille of Childhoodflames and so many more – along with the faces behind our favorite publications like TeenVOGUE, WWD, and NYLON in one place was a bit more than we could handle!

Over the course of the afternoon and night, we chatted with social media and fashion’s most prominent voices about the future of fashion and social media. The audience had so many questions, and our panelists were only too eager to answer them. Video of the conference will be up soon on YouTube and Vimeo for all of you that couldn’t make it to check out.

After the talks, the fashion show began and can we just take a moment to say that we were thoroughly impressed with everyone’s work! Triskaidekaphobia, JCheikh, Corvus Noir, Alyssa Nicole, Alexandra Grecco – if you didn’t have a ton of fans before, you certainly do now. WWD even interviewed Alyssa and JCHEIKH after the event! Thoroughly impressed, indeed.
