first of all… I scored BIG TIME shopping in NYC on Friday. My lovely friend Ashley that was nice enough to let me crash on her couch all weekend took me to all the hot spots-buffalo exchange, beacons closet, plus a few other thrift stores that we found along the walk. and mama got deeeeeeeals. This dress was an ecstatic find (altered of course.. there was another panel of the polka dots at the bottom, but I chopped it off to make it more ‘modern’ aka sassy) as well as the most comfortable heeled boots I’ve ever worn. Even though the 32 degree weather felt AMAZING, it’s still sadly winter so i threw on a striped long sleeve shirt from the Rodarte for Target line, and some sheer navy tights that I found hiding at the back of my closet. Finished with a fire engine red vintage belt I bought out in Seattle, and the newest clyde’s rebirth piece (http://www.clydesrebirth.com !).
extra bonus: the dress is floaty enough that it hid my Olive Garden soup/salad/breadsticks bloat from my lunch with one of my favorite people EVER. yes!
