Hope you’re having a good day. Productive and everything. Mine is usual, just home alone trying to look busy.=(
This was me a few days ago when we went for tea, yes, the higlight of my day.=( And though we will only be out for an hour or two, i see it as a chance to dress up. I wish i work too, or go to school so i can actually enjoy my outfit for more than 2 hours.=( Oh well, one day maybe.
But that day was a lucky day. We decided to take pictures before going out and leave the camera as it was pretty miserable anyway and we werent planning to go further than our venue for the day. We always choose between two cafes which are both located in our street. For some reason, we decided to go to the turkish restaurant and go to Cafe Caramel next time. Going out, the Mr. led me to the other street, not our usual route, because he needed to get rid of the rubbish. I complained because we’d be going around. He said he hasnt given the beggar his weekly $2 yet, he hates the other beggars but he likes this one and really gives him $2 for the whole week, which means the man shouldnt expect any more if he passes him again, just once a week, that’s it. So we found the man where he stands everyday (he’s lost one of his legs when he was a kid). So the Mr. gave him his $2 and we headed to the Turkish restaurant just a few steps away. We got inside, and i looked around (i always get to choose where to sit) and i chose the one next to the heater. I removed my scarf while the Mr. occupies the chair on the other side of the table. The moment i sat down and looked at him, i saw an explotion in the back of his head! The fire was huge it reached the other side of the road and blew up, over the 3 storey building. Cafe Caramel just blew up!! Gas leak! Oh you can just imagine my white face! I couldnt talk for an hour. The building was burning and i was imagining us sitting in our favourite spot, toasted just as we start to order!
So i dont know, i am atheist, both of us me and the husband, but that moment i thought whoever made the husband pick up the rubbish, whoever made him want to give the $2 that day, whoever made him decide we go to the turkish restaurant, thank you so much….that was bloody close!!!
Anyway, this is what i was wearing that day, sweater i havent worn for many months. But i still love it so much. Fur bag from River island (did i mention it’s a great store? i think i did!) =) skirt from topshop, tights from a local store, shoes by Sam Edelman, pearls+Chains from For Love 21 and my 3 year old grey sweater. i hope you like it.=)
Thank you thank you thank you for the comments and votes, i hope you will not get tired of me..=)
