Religion of Solitude

First of all, I have to say, I could not take ONE decent picture of this outfit or of me.

So there’s this quote by Aldous Huxley that says, “The more powerful and original a mind, the more it will incline toward the religion of solitude”.
I spent a lot of time alone. In fact, I’m quite lonely.
I spend the majority of my weekdays at school or in the library studying and the weekends at work or at home. It didn’t even occur to me that it was Valentine’s Day yesterday!

I go to great lengths to hide my loneliness and one of the ways I do so is by dressing up to go ANYWHERE. I wore this just to go study at the library yesterday.

Anyway, I adore these pants but I really need to get the taken in. Forever 21’s sizes are all over the place. These are labeled as a size 24, but they won’t stay up on my hips and I actually was wearing leggings and some shorts underneath to add some size so they’d stay up a little better. But in other things are Forever21 I’ll wear a 25 or 26 (25 usually for straight leg or skinny jeans, 26 for shorts).

I accessorized with the pearls I received for my high school graduation.
I’m allergic to cheap metal, so I usually forgo any jewelry whatsoever, and this pearl necklace is the only expensive necklace I have (er I lost a beautiful silver & diamond necklace I had from Tiffany’s).
