Hello everyone.=)
Hope you had a great valentines day.=) Whether with your guy or your girlfriends.=) Some of my happiest valentines day were with my college girlfriends and the even better ones were wiwth my bff then, a guy named Fherdz who looked so much like Nicholas Cage.=)We would have a walk in Session Road (Baguio City for you guys there at home) and count the girls with flowers and baloons and teddy bears. Then we would go to the Burnham park and sit down and again, count couples wearaing red!! =) Ah…i miss that boy. I lost him when i left college and never saw him again. Been googling him for 10 years. The last news i heard was he’s a got a little boy (that’s like 7 years ago). But i wont stop..till i find him or till the world no longer celebrate valentines day..
Anyway, what did you guys do? What did you give/receive? Where did you celebrate the red day? I know some of you dont celebrate it but hey, it’s one day you have the excuse to be extra sweet. =)
The Mr. bought us opera tickets (La Boheme, life of Bohemians in Paris in 1830, like Moulin Rouge only this one skipped the cancan.) And after that, he gave me my sushi for the month and then we exchanged gifts (yeah, like Christmas?!) I gave him the books and a card. And i cant really expect anything, or guess, because he never gave anything that’s predictable. If he knew i’d guess it, he would choose another. So this year’s valentines day, i didnt receive earrings, or sweater, or a floral dress for Spring or another bag i wasnt able to get. The man bought me a land on the moon! I know it sounds, crazy, and yes, again, unrealistic. But the thing is, who owns the moon? We cant really even say the Earth owns the moon just because it rotates around us. Though the Outer Space Treaty of 1967 stated that the moon and the other celestial bodies are the heritage of all mankind for the purposes of exploration. NASA doesnt own any celestial body and have never claimed them. So with all the fighting over who has the right to do things, like building a hotel and digging, this man “Mr. Somebody” american i think, used a gap in the space law and staked a claim to surface area on the moon. And sold some of it to others who would like to purchase a piece as “investment”. Of course it sounds silly but the Mr. thought it’s a unique gift. So he paid the money, got the Lunar deed and gave it to me. Years ago he also had a star named after his mother. So yes, when i saw the gift, i laughed so hard i almost fell off my chair. It was very funny. One of his best jokes, i thought. But i started reading the stuff, and saw that he didnt print the thing or anything, it’s “real” in the sense that he did pay for the thing, from that smart guy who figured out what to sell that people will buy even if it looks unreal. So yes, i didnt receive jewellery or a box of chocolate. I got a piece of land on the moon! =) And no matter how “worthless” some of you guys might think, it is one of the best gifts i have ever received.=) The thought of owning a land on the moon makes me smile and i will never look at the moon in the same way again.=) So yes, i thought it was sweet…and carzy.=)
This is what i wore, not a sign of red i am sorry.=( But i hope you like it.=)
Again, thank you so so much, you guys (you know who you are) for always dropping by…this page is nothing without you…thank you so so much…
