Happy Valentines Day!!
Yesterday, (the 13th) was my love and mine’s 3 year anniversary! He asked me to be his girlfriend that day 3 years ago and he asked me to marry him that day 1 year ago! I’m going to tell yall our story…
One night I went to buy a blink-182 c.d. at Hastings, and I met him there. We hung out that night with some of our other friends and then we exchanged numbers. He began calling me and we started going out on dates. But, since Jacob is in the National Gaurd he was about to leave in 2 weeks to go to New Mexico for Boarder Patrol :( We hung out a lot before he left and we had so much fun. He finally left, but I was still crazy about him, so we would talk on the phone as much as possible…..and then he asked me to be official. Of course I said yes! I was a senior in highschool at the time, so I asked him if he would go to prom with me. Luckily they were sending him home the same month as my prom and he got to go with me! After he got back, we were inseperable . And soon enough I fell in love with him :)
But then, we got bad news…….he had to leave again, But this time he had to go to Iraq. I was crushed. So we did everything together and spent all of our time together before he had to leave…. we had the time of out lives. When he finally did leave we decided we would write each other a letter every single day while he was gone. And we did. It brought us even closer writng each other everyday for a year.
Finally the year had passed and he got back. And a couple months later he proposed! :) We were married last October.
He is my best friend and the love of my life, I am so blessed and lucky to have found my soul mate. I’m so glad we get to grow old together and experience life together.
