The skirt reminds me so much of a Yellow Cab lining the streets of NYC, and since I cannot be in the NY Fashion Week with all other Chictopians (sad!), I decided I’ll just bring the City with me back here in Manila thus the “Yellow Cab” tribute of an outfit!
I love the bumble bee hue of yellow and black. It’s so bright and shocking… definitely NOT for the wallflower, which if you’d notice is the MAIN look of Glitterati. We’re all about standing out to the max! The colors are a tribute to the ULTIMATE HEROINE of KILL BILL, Uma Thurman’s role of Black Mamba… that vinyl-ish jumpsuit she wore in that awesome fight scene is something the skirt resembles!
Since the skirt is STATEMENT enough, I decided to add a simple black tanktop (my favorite find in the men’s section in the department store since it does wonders for my shoulders and arms) and strappy shoes which go perfectly with the strip detail on the skirt! These shoes are major… I love how bondage and caged it looks! And it’s also super high! Which is a good thing for people like me who were born and bred in high heels.
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE! Valentines was a sad holiday for me this year since:
1) I am allergic to flowers. So my boyfriend couldn’t give me some even if he wanted to.
2) I am allergic to chocolates… among other things…it’s sad but true!
3) I don’t really like teddy bears since I have OCPD and I think they collect dust.
4) I had a bad tummy flu from Friday- today which prevented me from having any Valentine’s dinner/meal or any meal for that matter that did not consist of home made rice porridge. Blah blah bland!

BIG YELLOW TAXI- Counting Crows
They paved paradise
And put up a parking lot
With a pink hotel, a boutique
And a swinging hot spot
Don’t it always seem to go
That you don’t know what you’ve got
Till it’s gone
They paved paradise
And put up a parking lot
They took all the trees
Put ‘em in a tree museum
And they charged the people
A dollar and a half just to see ’em
Don’t it always seem to go
That you don’t know what you’ve got
Till it’s gone
They paved paradise
And put up a parking lot
Hey farmer farmer
Put away the D.D.T. now
Give me spots on my apples
But leave me the birds and the bees
Please!
Don’t it always seem to go
That you don’t know what you’ve got
Till it’s gone
They paved paradise
And put up a parking lot
Late last night
I heard my screen door slam
And a big yellow taxi
Took away my old man
Don’t it always seem to go
That you don’t know what you’ve got
Till it’s gone
They paved paradise
And put up a parking lot
I said don’t it always seem to go
That you don’t know what you’ve got
Till it’s gone
They paved paradise
And put up a parking lot
They paved paradise
And put up a parking lot
They paved paradise
And put up a parking lot

Gorgeous skirt!
