I just turned 23 years old! And all I can say is WHOOOOA! I cannot believe it. I feel like I’m still 18 years old or something but nonetheless, I did have a fabulous time welcoming my birthday with a few good friends over at Fez the other night.
MAIN TOPIC OF THE NIGHT WAS: Doppelgangers (there’s this doppelganger thing going on in facebook where you look for a photo of someone who looks JUST LIKE YOU and post it as your primary photo). Me and my friends were busy to look for each other’s doppelgangers but I have yet to discover who mine is! Any ideas?
Naturally, a birthday isn’t really a birthday without the essential birthday dress. Last year, I went all out in a red mullet gown inspired by Balmain. This year, I toned it down and gave in to my inner teenager…thus the very kiddie print of rainbow dots (reminds me of gumballs) and the peplum micromini cut! Toughed it up with a studded belt, also from my clothing line and was soooo ready to twirl the night away after that!
It amazed me to discover how perfectly my limited edition Epi Leather Louis Vuitton clutch (a Christmas gift I bought and paid for myself) went with the dress. It was such a happy dress amidst the fact that it was practically falling off me even if I already stitched it up to fit me. I also went for curls which will be impossible to accomplish myself, considering I am so lazy to style my hair.
I found the perfect song for the night for myself too! It’s Plumb’s REAL thus the entry title!
