I went to my friend’s wedding in the end of last month. He’s my work-mate and the store is closed for few hours so everyone could come to the wedding and say the happy greetings. The wedding is so simple, held at home, with few invitations for relatives and close friends. It was just like a casual party. The thing is… I didn’t know what to wear until last minute. It was not too formal and it was held at 2 pm.
Oh, do you notice that I even put on some make-up? Hahah. Yeah, really. I rarely wear full make-up. For daily need, I just put on lip balm, compact, and mascara. But yesterday, I applied black eyeshadow (no eyeliner!) with a touch of silver on the corner of my eyes. Only took about seven minutes, I’m not that good at make-up. Seriously.
Then, the dress and the shoes were just something I threw on. My dress has shimmery effect so I think it goes with any semi-formal occasion. Oh, I found this bow-tie again and clipped it on my hair so I didn’t look too plain because I rarely wear accessories. Of course, I can’t take off this shoes, yet. Yaaaayyy.
Anyway, this is my second entry for this BuyDefinition IT Girl Contest. I believe that I should be BD It Girl. I gain lots of inspiration of dressing up but I always try to find something quirky and unique to describe my personal style though the outfit I’m wearing. I always take effort to dress up, yes, but not too much. That’s how I appreciate fashion.
