i know you can’t tell just by looking at the photos, but i have to let you in on a little secret: i’m not wearing anything vintage today. i have a deep love for all things vintage and always wear at least one vintage piece in all of my outfits. i just prefer to buy thrifted and vintage clothes because they’re super affordable and more unique than your usual trendy “high street” pieces. but on some rare occasions, i have to admit that it is rather refreshing to get decked out in brand new clothes. though i always keep true to my style; you can see that these are all timeless classics. a breton stripe shirt, rayban wayfarers, and kork-ease wedges? they might as well be vintage and you can certainly thrift pieces just like these!
though for good measure, i ended up throwing on a vintage jacket before i left for the day!
and i must also take a moment to give credit where credit is due, because after buying this awesome pair of trousers the other day, i knew i had to pair them with a breton stripe shirt, inspired by tracy rosenbaum (assistant to the sartorialist) as pictured in my post about trousers found here.
