Couldn’t find the right bow to complete this outfit; I wanted something almost costume (clowns/jesters), and tongue-in-cheek big, without looking daft. In the end I had to get some fabric and make my own – I would have liked for the edges to have been rounder, but it came out pretty well I think. The great thing about LBDs is that they’re such stand-alone pieces in themselves that you don’t have to go overboard with accessories or matching – you can just find one other bold piece – an item of jewellery, wow shoes, a statement bag…or an oversized bow!
