okay guys. so yesterday i didnt go to school (long story) and i woke up at about 10 and decided to check my email. imagine when to my surprise, there was an email with the subject: You’re a winner for the Chictopia10 Conference! RSVP ASAP! im sorry WHAT? my jaw literally dropped and i ran downstairs saying “mom mom mom mom oh my gosh oh my gosh mom mom LOOK!!!!” and she was like what you crazy girl and i showed her and oh my goodness you guys. i mean. WHAT??? after i entered this contest, i did not have a positive attitude about it, i was like well theres no way i can win. i mean its not like im a style icon or close to being one, my photo didnt have 200 chic votes or anything, i just thought there was no way. so i was SHOCKED to see that email. completely floored. i had to convince my parents to let me go but really how could i turn this down? and it came at the absolute perfect time, seriously this past few days have been the hardest i will hopefully ever have to experience, and then here comes one of the most exciting things ever. im just so surprised they picked me! i feel so undeserving of this huge thing!
ahhh im just so unbelievably excited!! i seriously cannot grasp the concept of physically seeing in person jane aldridge, camille, taghrid, danny roberts, susie of susie bubble, rebecca from the clothes horse, tieka from selective potential and all the other people who i dont know of plus the other wonderful winners who im so excited to spend time with! i mean… what???
this is totally insane. i just cant believe i won. how the heck did i win?? im also a little bit nervous. but way more excited.
okay well, this is a really long post, but i have to tell you chictopia, I LOVE YOU!!!!!! for real. this opportunity is… ridiculous. so thank you. so so much.
