Since I don’t live in America I can’t participate in the Forever21 sweetheart contest, but I felt inspired nonetheless to dress myself up with valentine’s day in mind! So here’s my result. I don’t think I look particularly sexy now, more like a fashion version of a girl who cupid has puked all over, but I love how romantic it looks and how the colors make me think of spring to come. So this one is for my boyfriend who puts up with my undying fascination with all things fashion and even watches project runway with me from time to time. He doesn’t get fashion that is a little more complicated and not perse flattering or classic, but when I combine it and tell him about it he kind of gets it (or he just stops caring :D). He lets me pick out his new clothes and he secretly really loves how stylish he has been looking since I’ve been doing that. I have a good influence on him: when he picks out clothes or shoes now, he tries the weirder stuff first because he actually really loves it. I had him buy these incredibly tacky (but in a good way) crocodile boots that were totally vegas chic imo. It sounds horrible but he looks drop dead gorgeous in them. Next time he bought shoes, he chose deep red shiny crocodile boots. So we’ll probably be dressing like Kanye and Amber Rose in a few years if we keep this up! :-D
