I am having an ethical dilemma that can only be solved by the fashionable majority here at Chictopia. I need a new winter jacket (I use the word need loosely, I live in south Florida, but I digress). I adore the look and the weight and the feel of the faux fur I have bought in the past, and I want to get something vintage and unique. Enter the white rabbit fur coat at the left. I think that because:
A) It is real fur lined in real silk and not synthetic it will last forever, thus not adding to the piles of cheap clothing I have thrown out that now sit in landfills not biodegrading
and
B) Because it is vintage I am not contributing to the fur trade and all their inhumane practices.
I am in desperate need of input, is my train of thought rational, or am I just using recycling as an excuse to buy something I know is morally questionable?
Also, I swear I will start start posting pics of my outfits and not just random things I buy REALLY soon, I just need to figure out my camera.

Go Faux!
