{and the best for last}:
This is my “lucky top”, for it has never let me down. I once wore it to an audition for the lead in a musical (never having been in theatre, nor ever performing so-lo) and got it. It’s a lovely neutral pink pulled silk material that gives me a lovely silhouette: substance on top and a cinched waist. I found it at a vintage boutique in downtown Athens, Georgia. The pants were a thrifty find (as most of my finds must be)! This outfit got me through a long day while my husband was recording an album. This is a picture of me while we took a much needed break from recording out back. It seemed like a perfect outfit to represent me for the contest—only 1/2 calculated, necessarily thrifty, and utterly in love with fashion.
