I was shocked to find out how much I would have to pay for a pair of ripped up well worn denim cutoffs. I just couldn’t stomach it. So, I dug through a couple of old storage bins and found the perfect pair of jeans to makeover – my old Levi’s 502s (the low waist version of the 501s that came out when low waisted jeans took over the world! Anyone remember the singing belly button commercials?) Anyway, I always thought the leg part fit funny, and that the pockets were unusually long. Snip snip, problem solved …goodbye legs! Hello pockets!
