I wish there was an option for occasion: exploring.
I live in a small mountain town called Durango, Colorado, in the Four Corners region. USA Today has named Durango one of the 10 worst-dressed towns in the country. For the time I’ve been going to school here, I’ve felt like a black sheep, and my style has often gotten many negative remarks and comments from people. When I joined Chictopia, I felt this sense of belonging that I’d never felt before. Everyone on here is so inspirational, and has helped me realize that no matter where you live, you should be able to express your own sense of style irregardless to what other people say. The positivity and encouragement on Chictopia is something everything girl deserves to hear. If I was given the opportunity to attend Chictopia10, it would give me a chance to escape my small town bubble for a weekend, and meet all these wonderful inspirational beings. :)
These photos are from one of my favorite spots in Durango, called Baker’s Bridge. In the summer, we jump off the bridge and surrounding cliffs into the river. It’s always so beautiful.
