Today is another dress day. I bought this one 2 sizes too big because there was something terribly wrong with the fit of it: literally ALL of the dresses were still hanging there in the last summer sales, so I got this one dirt cheap! Glad to see most people don’t think about buying a bigger size when the dress is obviously too small :-D I think it’s so silly how people cling to those little numbers that tell you which size you are, even if the size doesn’t fit. You’re not going to look skinnier if you wear stuff that is a smaller size than you should be wearing. No wonder many women feel so bad about their looks, they make themselves look bigger than they are!
When I shop, I always pull stuff out of the shelves based on the size I estimate them to be, not based on the numbers. I am quite good at sizing people up and guessing what weight they are and what size they should be wearing, I hardly ever look at tags.
