I realize that I am wearing a Jesus and Mary Chain shirt and that is a song by the Velvet Underground. They are both excellent bands and now they are united as one… in this blog post.
With my hand behind my head here you can see this wondrous J&MC shirt I bought on eBay. The day it came in the mail I was so excited I pulled it on as soon as I got it out of the envelope! I was heating up soup on the stove and some of it splashed on the shirt. Augh! It stained, too. I was so upset; it looked like Jim Reid had been eating carrot and yam soup. (Good soup though, right Jim?) I got one of those Tide bleach pens and it came out, thankfully. Yay!
It was a big t-shirt but I cut the neck into a boat neck and chopped the sleeves off. It’s much more comfortable and rock ’n roll chic now.
