Yes! I should take an example of you and take words like that as a compliment. :D Some days ago it was almost freezing and a friend looked at me. ''Tights? Haha I'm wearing tights as well', he said jokingly, 'under my trousers'. And yoour outfit - very cute! The ensemble looks great and I especially like the shoes and cardigan. Just 5 dollars.. this crazy adorable cardigan was only $5 at chap thriftstore. OHH HAPPY DAY.
:) i was so excited to find this little gem.

a little antecdote:

the other day i wore jeans to school and my librarian was like ‘whaaat?! you’re wearing pants! you know it’s cold when YOU’re wearing pants!"
i took it as a compliment. :) today i woke up and saw that we were under a wind chill advisory. which basically means that when you go outside, EVERYTHING freezes and it’s legitimately dangerous. so what do i do?

wear a skirt.
